No matter where you're at in life, we would love to have you and your family join us! Children's Ministry
We have a vibrant Children's Ministry with many avenues to connect your children to life within the church. The Children’s Ministry offers events for kids in preschool to sixth grade. We also are always looking for new people to volunteer within the Children’s Ministry if you would like to get involved through a different pathway!
Student Ministry
A student's life is an exciting time of growing into the young man or woman God has created them to be. At First Pres, our Student Ministry encompasses 7th- 12th graders. Helping students as they walk in their faith is an important way to foster connection within the church. We love journeying with them and walking alongside them as they grow in their faith and embrace God's abundant love.
Adult Discipleship
Our many ministry opportunities give everyone – whether you are twenty or eighty – a chance to get more connected with the church. On Sundays, we always appreciate those who can volunteer with the many aspects of worship such as running slides, helping set-up, serving as an usher/greeter, or singing with the choir. We also have multiple small groups that meet throughout the week, hosting bible studies and other fun events. We are always in need of people to host, lead, or co-lead a group!
Missions and Outreach
We support several different organizations both locally and globally through both mission and outreach efforts. We encourage the congregation to lead in some of these projects, whether they be helping outreach partners with events, or providing financial support. Music at First
Our Sunday worship wouldn’t be complete without the volunteers who sing in choir, play handbells, or help in other way to ensure that worship goes smoothly. If love to praise the Lord through making a joyful noise, this might be the ministry for you! We would love to have more people join the choir, especially if you have a hidden talent for singing!
Health Ministry
The health ministry is one of our newer ministries here at First Pres. We started the health ministry for individuals and families in the congregation to have a place to go for health and wellness resources. If you feel called to help educate others on healthy living, we would love to have you participate in this new, exciting ministry!
Stephen Ministry
Our Stephen Ministry group is also a fairly new ministry at FPC. However, this is a revitalized program from one we used to have that we were recently able to reform. This ministry works to support those who are hurting in our congregation and beyond. We are so excited that we got this back up and running, and can't wait to see what this ministry is able to accomplish!
