We will visit the Commemorative Air Force Museum (Rocky Mountain Wing) located at 780 Heritage Way, Grand Junction, CO 81506. This guided tour is free with a suggested donation of $5 per person. If you would like to carpool, please meet at the church at 2:00 pm, the fewer the cars we take the easier it is for the museum staff. The mission of the Commemorative Air Force Museum is "Educate, Inspire, Honor...lest we forget. We restore, maintain, and fly WWII-era aircraft and related memorabilia to educate, entertain, and inspire current and future generations. We will tell stories that honor the heroes who flew and supported the aircraft - to keep the memory, spirit, values, and contributions of the Greatest Generation alive."
