For our second SAM hike, we will be hiking the Canyon Rim/Window Rock Trail and perhaps the Alcove Nature Trail.  Both trails are located near the National Monument Visitor’s Center. They are 1.8 miles and .7 miles respectively. Both are an option for any level of hiker. Please remember to wear good shoes and bring sunscreen / water. Dogs are not allowed on these trails. We will meet at 9 am at the Monument Village parking lot (the old Safeway on the Redlands) and carpool to the Visitor’s Center. Please bring your National Park’s Pass if you have one.
