Christmas Eve Services

Luke’s Gospel tells us that when Mary gave birth to Jesus, she laid him in a manger, for there was no place for them in the inn. Christ was born in an unlikely place. And yet, God makes a place here anyway. God draws the circle wider as shepherds and unexpected guests arrive. This Christmas, let us also make room—for strangers and neighbors alike. For this is good news of great joy for all people.

We will read from the Scriptures, sing carols of Christmas, and reflect on Jesus' entry into the world. We invite you to come, invite a friend, and celebrate God's great love for us.

  • Sunday, December 24

    11:00 am & 3:00 pm | Traditional Services | Sanctuary

    The Choir will be performing during these services. Traditional liturgy, sermon, and many wonderful Christmas songs led by the Choir. These services will have a candle lighting element.

    2:00 pm | Children's Christmas Puppet Program | Multi-Purpose Room (MPR)

    We are excited to bring back our Christmas Eve children's program lead by our 5th & 6th grade group, Fireproof. They will tell the story of Jesus' birth with the help of puppets. It's an enjoyable service for all the kids and kids at heart. This service ends with a "glow stick" candle lighting.

    5:00 pm | Contemporary Service | Multi-Purpose Room (MPR)

    The Praise Band will lead music in this service. Scripture readings, sermon, and many wonderful Christmas Songs that the band will lead all in singing together. This service ends with a "glow stick" and real candle lighting element.

    * Please note:

    The nursery for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers through age 5 will not be staffed on December 24 or December 31 so that our staff and volunteers can enjoy the holidays with their families. We encourage our families to bring their children and enjoy the services together on those days.
