The passage of this week's message was written toward the end of Simon Peter's life, before he was martyred as a follower of Christ. And it's his own suffering that adds to his credibility when Simon Says: Suffer. What does Peter mean when he calls us to suffer? Let us together worship and learn what Peter said we should do.

As followers of Jesus we are called to be different, to live and behave in such a way that is God honoring and points others to the hope we have in Jesus.  This week, we continue to look at what Simon Says and the passage we read is full of "says". Do you struggle to follow instructions? It is probably safe to say none of us are alone in this struggle.  Join us in worship as we take a look at the instructions Peter gave in 1 Peter that grew out of his time walking with, listening to, and following Jesus' example.

Diving into 1 Peter is so rich . . . and so risky.  Rich because his words are written within the bigger picture of a "living hope in the resurrected Jesus" AND risky because he addresses some sticky issues.  Who's ready to dive in? Join us in worship as we are encouraged to live in such a way that people would lean in and listen more closely to the Good News of Jesus and acknowledge the glory of God.
