Surviving the Holidays

No matter how long it's been since your loved one died, grief can make the holidays a painful time, but there's hope.  Join us on Saturday, November 16, 9-11 am in Fellowship Hall for an encouraging seminar, GriefShare Surviving the Holidays.  The seminar will help you survive the holidays and discover new reasons to enjoy them again.

Support and encouragement for your grief journey.

The care you need.  Information you can trust.  After the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives.  But your grief continues and you feel alone.

Often, friends and family want to help you, but don’t know how.  That’s the reason for GriefShare.  Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives.  We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place.  We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.

GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly for 13 weeks.  You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your journey through grief.  There are three key parts to your GriefShare experience:  video seminar, support group, and workbook.

Our next 13-week GriefShare session will be in the spring on Tuesday evenings, January 14 through April 7, 2020.  For more information, please contact Tom Verdieck at (970) 270-8504 or or visit the GriefShare website at
