Children's Ministry at FPC

Discipleship Opportunities for Children

This will be a short discipleship time with a hiking theme for families that will be available after the on-line service each Sunday. During the 12 weeks between June 14 and August 30, families can learn more about the books of the Bible, the disciples, the fruit of the Spirit, what it means to be part of the body of Christ, and how we can pray for and serve in the world. Visit our Journey Together web page to get started.

FIREPROOF is our ministry specifically for 5th and 6th graders and their friends. FIREPROOF does not meet regularly in the summer. We are planning some fun activities for the summer. Keep an eye on this page and our Facebook page for more information.

SPORTS CAMP - Our June Sports Camp has been cancelled. However, UW Sports Ministry has chosen to serve churches in a digital and virtual format. From June 29th to July 31st there will be 25 days of activities to choose from that are simple and easily managed. Parents will be able to mold their plan to fit their specific situation with personal guidance from a fully trained UW Summer Staff Missionary. Parents will be guided by a UW staff person to help choose from sports drills, instructional videos, family discussion topics, Bible stories, and sports stories, as well as kids worship music and special ministry projects. The cost is $15 dollars for one child or $30 total for a whole family no matter how many children in the family. Click this link to register:

Safeguarding Your Children
First Presbyterian Church desires to be a safe place for all children who attend. We believe proactive steps can be taken to promote the safety of children and the volunteers who work with them. Therefore, we have adopted a prevention program to reduce the possibility of child abuse occuring in this church family.
