Worship at FPC

We believe worship is multi-faceted. We worship with music, dance, instruments, giving, preaching, serving others, and more.  We believe that worship is serving God by using our talent, time, and giving our hearts and lives fully to Him.  We hope when you enter our church building you will sense the presence of God as we gather together.

8:30 am Traditional Service
This service is the same as our Traditional Service at 11 am.

9:30 am Contemporary Service
This service is more informal than our other two but still retains some of our historic elements - Time for Confession and the Lord's Prayer.  Music is led by our praise band with guitars, vocals, keyboards, and drums. This service also utilizes a projection screen and lighting, which allows us to be more visual and multi-sensory.  Prayers, quotes, illustrations, video, and Biblical passages all enhance our time in this service.  This service meets in the Multi-purpose Room and usually lasts 75 minutes.

11:00 am Traditional Service
This service, although not tied to tradition, offers more experiences and responses characteristic of historic worship.  We sing both traditional and contemporary hymns with organ or piano accompaniment.  During the school year, our worship choir inspires us with special anthems and there is often special music, including musical offerings from our bell choir (which also offers special music at our other services).  This service meets in the Sanctuary and usually lasts 60-70 minutes.
