glimpse at some of the things we do.

Road Trips!
We live in a beautiful place and it’s
always fun to go enjoy God’s handiwork!
Local
Mission Projects!
.
Opportunities to serve aren’t limited to one week in the summer. We look
for creative ways to serve those in need right here in our own community.
Annual
Sledding Trip To Old Powderhorn!
This usually happens over the Christmas break sometime! Lots of snow, sleds,
and hot chocolate equals a great time!
Ski Weekend –Jan
18th @ Powderhorn
Confirmation Class
–
Fall of 2009, students 8th grade and older will have the opportunity to take
Confirmation Class and become a member of the church.

Souper Bowl Sunday –
Collect cans of soup on Super Bowl Sunday for the local food bank. We also
do a “Service Blitz” on the Saturday before the Super Bowl. Last year,
we raised $3810 and 2915 food items!
Youth Conferences–
We look for opportunities for students where they and their friends can be
engaged and grow. in their faith. |

June 21st-25th
This week-long retreat at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado is
usually the highlight of the summer for those middle school students who
attend. The students hear great speakers, experience exciting worship, have
fun, rafting, hiking, and learning about their Savior!

In July 2009, our high school group will be doing another short term mission
trip, this time in Los Angeles with CSM. For the last two years the students
along with many adult volunteers, drove to Tijuana, Mexico to build homes
for families. We also led a VBS time for the kids in the neighborhood where
we worked.

We strive to provide a ministry to youth
that encourages and strengthens your student for life in the real world. At
the same time we want to support your family.
Know you are always welcome to call, email,
or drop in to talk about issues or concerns you may have. We have dedicated
volunteers who love God and love teenagers.
Let us know if there is something we can be
doing to further support family life in our ministry.
We know you are your student’s number one
influence and teacher, and we want to help you on that journey.
We will have regular family ministry nights,
and will also be offering Parenting Sunday School classes as well as an
adult Bible study specifically for parents beginning in October.
