CHILDREN

            Join us for Super Summer GRACE Place at 11 am on June 6, July 4, and August 1!  This will be a multi-age experience e for children in kindergarten through 4^th grade.  Invite a friend to join you at church!

            Don’t forget to sign up for Sports Camp and Vacation Bible School.  And be sure to look for other activities for kids on the church calendar!

Nursery Care is available for children ages 5 and under during both the 9:15 and  

11:00 AM worship services.  The Nursery is staffed by our Nursery Assistant, June Samrow, and church volunteers.

Registration fee is $65, and all campers will receive a camp T-shirt.

“Go the Distance” SPORTS CAMP

June 21-25, 2010, Columbine Park

9 am – 12:15 pm

            The churches of Canyon View Vineyard, Downtown Vineyard, First Presbyterian, New Life, and River of Life are hosting a summer sports camp in partnership with UW Sports Ministry of Colorado Springs.  The camp will offer coaching and instruction in soccer, flag football, and cheerleading for children ages 6 - 12 and basketball and volleyball for children ages 8 – 12.  Camp will be held the week of June 21-25, at Columbine Park, 544 28 1/4 Road, from 9 am – 12:15 pm.  Also included is a TEAM 45 camp for 4 and 5 year olds, introducing the basic movements of sport.  Registration for TEAM 45 is limited to 25 campers.

            Based on 2 Timothy 4:7-8, “Go the Distance” Sports Camp not only offers sports instruction, but teaches biblical stories and principles and applies those principles to sports.   Campers can register at any of the sponsoring churches, or call 242-1923 for more information.  Registration fee is $70, and all campers will receive a camp T-shirt.

Family Camp is July 9 – 11, 2010!    Looking to disconnect from the outside world?  Looking to reconnect with God, your family, and your church family?  Then join us for Family Camp!  All ages are welcome at this weekend of fun, friendship, food, and worship at the beautiful X Lazy F Ranch.  Mark your calendars for July 9 - 11 and look for sign-ups in June.

Baobab Blast Vacation Bible School is July 26 – 30, 2010!  The fun will start at 5:15 pm each evening as kids and adults share dinner together. Then, from 6 to 8:30 pm each day, the kids are invited to be a part of God’s great get-together! Set in the expansive African savannah, under the impressive baobab tree, Baobab Blast offers kids the opportunity to listen to God’s Word, be amazed at God’s creation, and be a part of a community of believers. This is a VBS that you don’t want to miss!
