CHILDREN

11:00 AM

Pre-kindergarten children (ages 3 ½ to 5) meet in Room E-8 for Sunday School with teachers Cathy Thomas and Kerry Murdock. 

Kindergarten through 4th grade children participate in G.R.A.C.E Place rotation workshops.  Room assignments are posted at the church. 

GRACE Place rotations for Spring 2010 are:

·        Jan. 3 – Feb. 7             Jesus’ Parables

·        Feb. 21 – March 28     Peter’s Story

·        April 11 – May 23        The Story of Pentecost

Special Events
February 14     Friendship Sunday—All children are encouraged to invite a friend to church.

5th and 6th graders have their own Sunday School class, at 11:00 am, in Room E-3.  Teachers are Stephen Anthony and Janet Young.

Nursery Care is available for children ages 5 and under during both the 9:15 and  

11:00 AM worship services.  The Nursery is staffed by our Nursery Assistant, June Samrow, and church volunteers.

·        God’s Word – Christ: The Fulfillment--Barb TerLouw (E-11)

God’s Word is a weekly, Sunday morning, Bible Study class.  Matthew’s Gospel confirms the fulfillment of God’s promise to send the Messiah. How was Jesus recognized as the Messiah? Read these familiar stories as if for the first time; learn to love Christ all over again!

Each week’s lesson stands on its own, so come whenever you like.

·        Jewish Festivals – Reverend Cy Smith and Lois Lampert (E-6)

A new adult learning and growth class begins January 10, 2010.  The class is a fresh approach to understanding the Bible.  Each Sunday a Jewish Festival will be defined followed by Christ’s response.
