I was born in Madison, WI but raised in Lexington, NE and Denver, CO. I was very active in youth group and choirs at Central Presbyterian Church in Denver. I served in the Colorado National Guard, U.S. Navy (Amphibious Attack Froce & Nuclear Submarines) and U.S. Army as Chief Warrant Officer in Viet Nam. In civilian career, I worked as a Field Engineer, Superintendent and Construction Manager, Start-Up Engineer and Consultant on commercial nuclear power plants, petro-chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants and an oil shale plant. I developed and owned a specialty staffing company which provided technical support to personnel in 30 states and Puerto Rico. I married Roberta (Bobbie) on Sept. 21, 1959 and we had two girls (Kim & Misty) who in turn have blessed us with four grandchildren (3 girls and 1 boy). With my military service and civilian career we lived from coast to coast and many places in between over the past 55 years. Retirement is not my cup of tea and I love my part-time work at First Presbyterian. The loving and supportive staff and congregation make my job a real pleasure.
